Ahem, I have been requested to say something....

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!!!  How was that?

A few words on body language!

Here we see tails are up, but not straight up.  these dogs are trusting that there is no danger around and the slight raise in the tail means they are willing to be active participants in whatever games come their way!

Now check out that stance on the american bulldog mix.  Her ears are pricked forward, her tail is very high and she is focusing on  a playmate.  She intends to have the upper hand and is challenging him!

Now if you look at the shepherd, you can see that she has switched from play mode to work mode.  I was standing on the other side of the log and I wanted to try and get their photo as they were jumping over.  the shepherd is trying to figure out what I want because they are such an intelligent breed.  If I speak she will ignore all the other dogs. 

Here I have created mass chaos because no one knows what I want, they are sick of me taking photos and would like me to just walk and stop all the nonsense....

So sorry to have to say goodbye...

You were so amazing.  I love how you could hike with us and never left our side, even though your nose wanted you to wander!  I love how you tripped on your ears when you were younger and trying to chase the other dogs!  I love how you whined on your first overnight and made me sleep on the couch with you!  I love how you could wear all these costumes and look proud!  You will be so missed...thank you for the joy you brought us.
